View looking east from BLM 1017 at the junction of House Rock Valley Road and BLM 1017.  This is the main access road onto the Paria Plateau.  This road is not suitable for automobiles and probably not for some standard 4WD SUV's because of the very deep sand in long stretches.  If you have a higher clearance 4WD with good power you should be OK in this sea of dry sand.
